On October 31, 2014, Yoshi Fujikawa's required Marketing course, welcomed Mr. Yohei Matsuoka, Vice President, Williamson-Dickie Japan Ltd (at the time of the case, and currently, Director of Marketing, SmartNews, Inc.) as a special guest. As the protagonist of a new just-completed ICS case, "Dickies Japan: Social Media Strategy and the 'Dickie-zoku' Incident", Matsuoka-san joined the session and discussed with students opportunities and challenges involved in social media marketing, in particular, the difficulty and importance of decisions and actions taken at top management level.

In Marketing (Faculty: Yoshi Fujikawa), students were very privileged
to have an ICS alumni guest speaker: Eisuke Watanabe Director and Division Leader, Digital Service, Media Solutions Business Development, Catalina Marketing Japan K.K. (ICS MBA Class of 2008). Through discussion with Watanabe-san, ICS students learned how to best incorporate digital technologies in marketing in an environment of changing consumption behaviors such as omni-channel consumption and online-to-offline (O2O) shopping journeys.
