Kamakura1.jpgOn Mar 16, as the sequel to DAY 4 Foundation Session "Japanese Culture: Unraveling the Roots of Japanese Virtues," 60 MBAs from 20 business schools around the world visited took to the ancient city of Kamakura, the home of the Samurai. At Engakuji Temple, one of the prestigious head temples of Zen Buddhism in Kamakura, students experienced a Zen meditation session led by Buddhist Priest Ichido Uchida.Kamakura.jpg

Following the Zen meditation session, Motoko Kimura and Mina Kanai Nishisaka guided students to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, a historical shrine established in 1063, located at the center of Kamakura.
