Hitotsubashi ICS has launched an EMBA program
On Sunday, September 3rd, the program kicked off with 15 students, 7 from Japan and 8 from overseas, in the newly renovated classroom at our Chiyoda campus. Although this program is part-time, the students gather everyday for the first two weeks for intensive study and group works, which gives them an opportunity to get to know each other.
The first day started with Dean Kaz Ichijo's welcome remarks, Program Introduction, explanation of the Academic Policy and Case method by other faculty members.
After the Japanese culture session led by Mina & Motoko over lunch, students moved to Gokokuji temple
to experience Shodo (Japanese Calligraphy). They chose a Kanji (Chinese character) to show others and explain their resolution for the EMBA program.
To wrap up the day, a reception party was held at Tokyo Prince Park Tower and attendees were able to enjoy the night view from the 33rd floor in a relaxed atmosphere.
