Hitotsubashi ICS- Commencement day, Aug 25, 2018
The Commencement Ceremony for Hitotsubashi ICS was held on Saturday, August 25 at Josui Kaikan, the alumni building next to the campus. This year we welcomed the first batch of EMBA graduates. 43 of the full-time MBA students (19 students from Class of 2016, 24 students from Class of 2017), 15 EMBA students, 2 DBA students graduated on this day. Families and friends joined to celebrate this day, adding up to close to 200 participants including faculty and staff.
The ceremony kicked off by a welcome speech from Prof. Kenny Koga, who served as MC for the ceremony, followed by greetings from faculty members. Student representatives, Wilson (MBA), Nobu (EMBA) and Daiki (DBA) each gave an impressive speech. Dean, Prof. Kaz Ichijo made a congratulatory address and presented the Dean's award to Michael (MBA) and Naheel (EMBA).
The graduates enjoyed taking pictures with classmates, faculty, families and friends in the end. It was a memorable event for graduates as they praised their efforts for achieving the program, and thanked the support they received during their endless studies from families and companies.
