James Moustafellos received his Master of Architecture degree from Princeton University and his BA from Columbia University.
Mr. Moustafellos is the Practice Lead for Design at LiquidHub, a global consulting firm specializing in digital transformation to solve business challenges. In this role, he leads a team of designers and sets the vision and roadmap for the application of design within the business enterprise.
Prior to joining LiquidHub, Mr. Moustafellos was an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems and co-Founder and Associate Director of the Center for Design + Innovation at the Fox School of Business, Temple University.
Mr Moustafellos’ research focuses on understanding design culture and applying design methodologies to innovate management practice. Recent research includes: Toward an Architectural Theory of Innovation: Explicating design, networks, and microprocesses to be published in the Journal of Creativity and Business Innovation; Learning by Doing: Design Studios in MIS Education presented at the 2015 Americas Conference on Information Systems; and The Architecture of Service Innovation a chapter in The Handbook of Service Innovation published by Springer-Verlag in 2015.
Mr. Moustafellos’ design work has been exhibited and published extensively and has won numerous awards and distinctions. His work is in the collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and his design work for the architectural firm Francois de Menil Architect received an Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects and was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
